1.0 QE Where Practice Meets Performance: Simulation as a Catalyst for Healthcare Excellence

The Orlando Health Simulation (SIM) Team operates within a Society for Simulation in Healthcare–accredited Simulation Center that delivers high‑fidelity resuscitation and trauma scenarios and nationally recognized courses such as ATLS, FCCS, and ASSET, with fellows actively involved in both training and instruction. The team partners closely with Medical Information Technology to integrate simulation technology and EHR-based training environments that support clinical education and system readiness.

For ACHE members, this work highlights how simulation and informatics can drive quality, safety, operational readiness, and strategic technology adoption—offering a scalable model for health system innovation and leadership.
